-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
A message from our host about tonights gathering :

our focus of these get togethers are for folk to meet each other, for potential vendors to see the grounds and get a chance to ask the owners/developers any and all questions they want, a time we can start to build a sense of community among us by talking, having our kids meet and play together in a safe environment, drink a beer or two, listen to music, share our best eats with one another in an ol' fashion pot luck style dinner, drum around a campfire, dance, howl at the moon, have fairies take us through a midnight walk of these enchanted woods, etc.

all that is expected of attendees are these things:
 --have fun
--bring the best of yourself to the gathering
--be respectful of others and the kids
 --don't drink and drive
--as with the spirit of the Burning Man, bring something of yourself to share in the building of a tribe
--offer your ideas as to how to make Sherwood a success
--bring a pot luck tray of some kind, if time permits, to share with others

 that's it.

 should be plenty to drink
 should be good entertainment
should be enough folk with drums to result in a midnite drumming circle

there are lots of trees and one portapotty
a hike on the other side of green woode stage, there are showers

plan on camping, if you'd like
we are sure there will be plenty that will even tho its hot a blue blazes

feel free to bring friends and family

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 13 Production)

DAY13

Man I gotta fix that title. Anyways finished the film on schedule. With Keith anyway. I just have some odds and ends to film like the snuff tape material and things i will find along the way in editing. Last night was indeed, Keith's final shoot. Just one scene shot in two separate locations. A night shoot. Started around 9pm and finished around 10pm. Quick shoot. Last days are always just in and out and walk away forever. Always very anti-climactic. So it was Keith, Tom, Shan and myself.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 12 Production)

DAY 12

Last week was strong on the elements of water and mud. This week was all about blood/guts/food. Pretty much a skeleton crew of about 2 people. Myself included. 3 scenes to be shot. Two of which were to take place in a kitchen type location. However, at last minute, that got pulled and I made the decision to shoot the scene in the abandoned tractor trailer yard. yeah that was all well and nice till we actually got there to find out they hauled off most of the trailers. Two remained. 1 locked tight like a virgin and other sitting middle in the thick of some overgrown bushes. All that tripe to come later. Shot from 1:30pm to 3:50pm with Keith and myself. Then resumed at 4:30 to 7:15pm with Thomas "Rubin Card" Stevens and Keith.

DAY 11

Wet nasty ass fucking day. 1:30 - 5pm. There's something about shooting in the rain that makes everything move slower in every aspect. On location in this shit weather goes both ways. It was a great shoot but an uncomfortable shoot, great shots but difficult shots. It just depends on who you're working with and their tolerance level to miserable conditions. This shoot was Keith and Shannon. Shannon pretty much taking the worst of the shoot. Only 3 scenes but again, not the easiest to pull off.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 10 Production)

DAY 10

The shoot was a slightly bigger shoot but with scheduling conflicts I could not get Beth to come in and shoot her part. So it was a two man crew for this. Keith and myself. Shot from 1:15 to 4:30pm. Some 3 hours for 4 scenes. This was the "Recording Room" set and scenes. writing the script I had no idea where this would be shot for a number of reasons but in the end decided to just clean out one of the rooms (the laundry room) from the abandoned house and do some set dressing. I had always written and drew up scripts or comics having to do with some sorta red lit control room and I finally got to do it. Great look and footage.

DAY 9

Ok. Filming has resumed. Finally. Not the BEST return but we cranked out some excellent footage. So 2:45 to 5:45 pm. It would have been a solid 2 to 7pm but Ali couldn't make it till around 3:30ish and Keith had to leave by 5:30 for prior engagements. So lots of running around and rearranging of the shoot schedule. With the limited shoot time of 3 hours, we could not afford to sit and wait. Packed up and headed out to the first location with the abusive Keith Miller. The Drain tunnel.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 8 Production)

DAY 8

The first of our "on-location" exterior materal. 5 scenes. 2 at the playground. 2 at the bus-stop and one interior car/roadside. Started at 1:15pm and wrapped at 5:45pm. 5 hours that went very fast. Extremely wild weather today. I was told by numerous sources that today was suppose to be the "Rainy as all fuck" day. Never happened. Today was Allie Peden, Keith, Shan and myself with some crazy kids that popped up, some horses, a lost pug, Joe Spinell, some planes, some wind BUT no rain.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 7 Production)

Day 7

This was our sorta "short" production day which we made for a Saturday instead of the usual Sunday. Basically one scene we were suppose to shoot last week but didn't and an added scene that was written into the movie. Filmed with Beth on her solo scenes from 3pm to 4pm. Waited around for Keith to arrive from getting his new tat. His shoot was with beth and went from 5:30 to 6:45pm. All in all a 2 and half hour shoot. YET it was somewhat difficult.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 6 Production)

DAY 6

8 Scenes. 70 plus shots. 1pm to 9:30pm. 8 hours and 30 minutes. Longest shoot ever but we killed a lot of scenes with little difficulty. So the shoot schedule and the script itself got juggled around a bit and kept changing through out the week because earlier in the week we learned Beth couldn't shoot (but she later showed up anyway) and a lot of the special effects became almost impossible to pull off. The first scene with Alison Peaden ended up being shot much later since she was feeling a little sick from last night. We ended up jumping into the middle of the pre-planned schedule and hoped we had time.
