Synchronized Chaos Magazine's contributing writer Faracy Grouse (http://www.faracy.org) is creating an indie movie! Here’s the synopsis:

I want to start filming this April and finish by the end of 2009.
The only way Madelaine, a final year PhD student, is able to make sense of her life is to maintain her exacting routine. Surviving a turbulent childhood at the hands of a distant mother and drug-addict father who took her from fascist Spain to cold war Russia in search of an ideal life, she defects to America only to find herself drawn back to Spain and into a dysfunctional marriage of her own.
Now in London, she meets Lisboa, a charming but reckless Portuguese sous-chef who forces her to face the past which nearly destroyed her.

For more information, and to make a donation (any amount helps, and you’ll get a copy of a collection of her writings) visit her Fundable site here: https://www.fundable.com/groupactions/groupaction.2009-03-04.7166812766?email=cedeptula@sbcglobal.net

She’d love people with whom to network, people to spread the word, people to help her out with cost saving/fundraising ideas, people who can donate their time, etc.

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 5 Production)

DAY 5

6 Scenes. 33 plus shots. 1:30 to 6:45pm. 5 Hours and 15 minutes. Got it? Good. Well the weather is breaking and it's getting a lot nicer out which means people wanna walk around be nosey. That was it was extremely important to shoot these interiors to the house first and in Winter. Pretty much as usual, Beth, Keith, Shan and myself. Or so it was for the first scene.

This was the last of the bathroom scenes which is a bitch trying to light because not only is its small space but each scene has a different lighting scheme. But this was the MESSIEST day thus far. BLOOD! BLOOD! BODY PARTS AND BABY FETUS! woot?

THE UNTOLD STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR (Day 4 Production)

Day 4

Longest shoot. 2:30 to 9pm. 6.5 hours. Shot with mainly Keith Miller with Alison Horn coming in later for her part. Had Shannon on as my A.D. So its cold and I have to run a really long extension cord from my house to the abandoned house for some lighting which caused some problems since the wire is so fat the door to my house had to be cracked. That problem unfolds later. Was considering buying a space heater but they were gone. Ok onto the report.

Another two shoot days grouped into one long shoot. 8 scenes. 2 hours of footage.

THE TRUE STORY OF FRANK EGDE JR (Production Day )

Day 3: The True Story Of Frank Edge Jr

SO I think we're gonna call this film THE TRUE STORY OF FRANK EDGE JR. Based on actual events? Because shit? Why not?

Massive shoot going down today, at last minute Hoffman was able to join the shoot so we were able to shoot him out of the film with his character. We shot from 2:30pm to 8:30pm. It was a day/night shoot. The night shoot was namely with Keith and Steve which ran 2:30 to 5:15pm. Clean up and eat food break. Picked back up at 6pm with the Night shoot with Beth and Keith which ran to 8:30pm. THE BREAK DOWN.

"SEQUENCES" Day 2 Production

Photobucket

So today was a bulky kinda day, possibly the longest day of work done on any given film we've done before. Shot from 1:30pm to 6pm. 14 Scenes and 50 shots. Again, all taking place in the abandoned house. In front of the camera: Keith, Beth, Hoffman. And off to the side Shannon and Ali Peadon. Myself directing and camera shiz.

I had to combine shoot days 2 and 3 together since day 2 was a really shoot schedule and it would have been a waste of a weekend to not get the most out of it. THUS creating one massive shoot. Aight?

This is the trailer for Dunkirk Studios' latest short film "Boundaries of Attraction", which explores the sexual/romantic categories people try to put themselves into, and how some of us end up falling somewhere in between.

The short is 40 minutes long and filmed on MiniDV. It's currently in post-production and will be released in the late Fall of 2008.

The film was written and directed by Jamie Fessenden, and stars Billy Baraw, Robert Kersey, Stephanie Aurora Long, Dina Baker, Xebic J. Smith and Ashley Caron. Technical Direction by Nicholas J. Carroll.

The song "Picture in Your Mind" was written by Jonah Smith; music by Jonah Smith and J. DeGrazio. The song has been edited to fit the trailer.
